In biomechanics we are evolving our own animal populations. In order to do that, we have to come up with some naturally occurring, selective pressures to make them evolve. I am working with a bunch of pigmy marmosets. They're moving out of the rainforest and into higher elevations and rockier terrain. Here's how I coaxed them into moving:
