This was a tough one. Using gouache paint, we had to make the 12 stops on the color wheel. The catch was, we could only use the three primaries: RYB. So we had to mix to find the secondaries: OGV. Then, we had to mix the secondaries with the primaries to find the terciaries: RO, OY, YG, GB, BV, and VR. It took the better part of a week to finish. Its not simply adding equal amounts of R to Y to come up with O. Instead, you have to start with Y and slowly nurse in the R until it looks right. I got an A on the assignment, but she did say that my YG was a tad too G, and my BG was a tad to B. (This picture's colors are not quite true to the actual thing - scanning and all)
